Gunnedah High School, is located on Marquis St in Gunnedah NSW.
We are approximately a 5hr drive North-West of Sydney and 40mins west of Tamworth
Gunnedah High School is a community based comprehensive High School catering for a wide range of ability and interests. That aims to develop the whole person in a caring, positive and compassionate environment while valuing individual growth and responsibility.
Gunnedah High is a happy school situated in the North West of the state. As well as serving the secondary students of the town, almost half the school population is drawn from the surrounding rural district bounded by Boggabri to the north, Breeza to the south, Mullaley to the west and east to Somerton.
The Gunnedah and local area communities are experiencing renewal after a period of economic decline. This is due to the abundant supply of energy, raw materials and open space for manufacturing facilities.
